About Chrissy
Growing up surrounded by animals, I became fascinated by behaviour, communication, and the relationships we build with our dogs. Long before becoming a qualified trainer, I was the person constantly asking "why?" — why dogs react the way they do, why some struggle, and how we can help them feel calmer, safer, and understood.

My Journey
Growing up surrounded by animals, I became fascinated by behaviour, communication, and the relationships we build with our dogs. Long before becoming a qualified trainer, I was the person constantly asking "why?" — why dogs react the way they do, why some struggle, and how we can help them feel calmer, safer, and understood.
Like many owners, I've experienced the emotional ups and downs that come with living alongside dogs who need extra support. That journey led me deeper into learning about behaviour, ethical training, enrichment, and scent work — not just to change behaviour, but to improve dogs' overall wellbeing and strengthen the relationship between dogs and their humans.
"Because behind every struggling dog is usually a human who's trying their best too."
Over the years, I've continued to study modern, science-based training methods while gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, personalities, and challenges.
Today, WagRight focuses on helping real people with real dogs — from puppies and adolescent chaos to reactivity, confidence building, scent work, and everyday life skills.

"Chrissy is kind, knowledgeable and so supportive."
OUR MISSION
If WagRight could change the world, it would be this:
Fewer dogs being surrendered, rehomed, or put to sleep simply because their humans felt unsupported, overwhelmed, or afraid to ask for help.
So many owners struggle in silence because they fear judgement or believe they've failed their dog. At WagRight, we want to change that.
We believe support should feel accessible, compassionate, and safe — especially during the moments people are struggling most.
Our mission is to help people better understand their dogs before situations reach crisis point. Through ethical training, behaviour support, enrichment, and education, we aim to strengthen the relationship between dogs and their humans and keep more dogs happy, secure, and in loving homes where they belong.
Because sometimes changing a dog's future starts with making an owner feel understood too.
