Aggression/Reactivity Towards Other Dogs
Some dogs struggle when they see other dogs, displaying behaviours such as barking, lunging or growling. We focus on understanding the underlying emotions driving the behaviour and use positive, evidence-based training to build confidence, improve coping skills and create calmer responses over time

Aggression/Reactivity Towards People
Fear, frustration or previous experiences can cause dogs to react negatively towards people. We carry out a thorough assessment and create a tailored training plan that prioritises safety while helping your dog feel more comfortable and secure around others.

Separation Anxiety/Distress
Being left alone can be incredibly distressing for some dogs, leading to behaviours such as vocalising, destructive behaviour, pacing, toileting indoors or attempts to escape. We take a compassionate, science-led approach to understand your dog's individual needs and develop a tailored training plan that gradually builds confidence when home alone. By working at your dog's pace and addressing the underlying emotions, our aim is to help them feel safe, secure and more relaxed during periods of separation.

Excessive Barking
Barking is a natural form of communication, but excessive barking can become frustrating for owners. We identify the underlying cause and provide practical, reward-based strategies to help reduce unwanted barking while supporting your dog's emotional wellbeing.

Jumping Up
Whether greeting visitors or seeking attention, jumping up is a common behaviour that can be safely and effectively addressed. We teach alternative behaviours and reward calm choices to encourage polite greetings.

Resource Guarding
Some dogs guard food, toys or valued items because they feel insecure about losing them. Our approach focuses on building trust and changing emotional responses through careful management and positive reinforcement, never punishment.

Pulling on the Lead
Walking should be enjoyable for both ends of the lead. We use kind, practical training methods to teach loose lead walking, helping your dog stay engaged and making walks calmer and more rewarding.

Phobias Such as Loud Noises
Fear of fireworks, thunderstorms or other loud noises can be distressing for dogs and their owners. We provide guidance on management and confidence-building techniques, alongside gradual desensitisation where appropriate, to help reduce fear and improve your dog's wellbeing.

Toilet Training Issues
Whether working with a new puppy or an older dog, toilet training problems can usually be improved with consistency and the right plan. We help owners establish effective routines and identify any behavioural factors contributing to accidents.

Socialisation Problems
Dogs that lack confidence around people, dogs or new environments can struggle in everyday life. We help owners build positive experiences at the dog's own pace, developing resilience and confidence through carefully managed, reward-based training.

Recall Issues
Does your dog ignore you when off the lead? We teach reliable recall using engaging, reward-based games, so you can confidently give your dog the freedom they need while knowing they'll always come back when called.

Just finished 6 x 1-1 sessions with my cocker spaniel puppy aka cockerdile. The sessions have been so helpful and we have made a lot of progress. What we found most helpful was the guidance and education we received not just in training but in health and nutrition too. Advice was always available in between sessions too. The sessions have given me more confidence with my pup for example on walks instead of constantly bothering my dog to come back to me to reward the check in he does without being asked and more recently we've done whistle training which has gone really well .. I was also given great recommendations of what to give my puppy to give him an outlet for his natural drive and his teething . I've been introduced to place boards and the beginnings of scent training . I am thinking of going Chrissys scent classes in the future . Overall I would not be where I am today without these sessions and my pup has been hard work in certain areas such as biting and impulse control . Thoroughly recommend as sessions are tailored towards you and your dog
